PG Stone supplies random Yorkshire stone walling — natural stone in irregular sizes and shapes suited to traditional random coursed walling construction across the UK.
Random walling stone is the most traditional form of Yorkshire stone construction, creating walls with the natural, irregular character seen throughout the rural landscapes of the North of England. It is widely used in agricultural, rural residential, and landscape settings where a natural, unprocessed appearance is either a planning requirement or a design preference.
Our random walling stone is sourced from reclaimed Yorkshire stone, ensuring genuine character and appropriate weathering for use alongside or within existing traditional stonework. Stock is available in bulk volumes suitable for significant walling projects. Due to the nature of the product the stock is always evolving in terms of colours, sizes and shape, (square or rectangle).
All our random walling is square edged (basically squares or rectangles in shape ) but the sizes are varied hence the term “random” is used to describe this type of stone. It also comes with a variety of colours and finishes and can be used for many projects such as the external walls of a house, boundary walls, feature walls and extensions.
Due to the nature of the product the stock is always evolving in terms of colours, sizes and shape, (square or rectangle).
