Redressed stone offers the best of both worlds: the authenticity and character of genuine reclaimed Yorkshire stone, combined with the uniformity and clean faces required by modern construction standards and planning requirements. It is widely specified for new build residential developments, commercial schemes, and extensions where planners require natural stone that blends sympathetically with the surrounding environment.
Our redressed stone is carefully processed and graded on site, ensuring consistent bed depths and face dimensions for efficient laying. We supply to contractors, developers, and specifiers throughout the UK. A more viable alternative is new redressed stone as this can be made specifically to your requirements and can be produced in larger quantities for large new build projects.

Redressed stone is one of the most environmentally-friendly materials available for building projects. This type of stone is sourced from demolition sites or old properties and reworked and is best used for recreating new homes where the aged appearance is required, however, there are different types of Punched Faced Stone as depending on where the stone was dressed the punches could be random or more uniform (in straight lines) this did tend to be a regional variation. The majority of our Punched Faced Stone is random.
